Most shower tile projects in the GTA take three to seven days depending on scope, drying times, and custom cuts around niches and fixtures.
Day 1–2: Prep and waterproofing
Old tile may be removed, surfaces leveled, and a waterproof membrane installed. This step prevents leaks behind the walls.
Day 3–5: Tile setting
Wall tile is laid from the bottom up with spacers for even joints. Corners and niches require precision cuts.
Final day: Grout and seal
Grout is applied, cleaned, and sealed where needed. Your installer will explain cure times before heavy use.
